Watch List
November Watch List
Hi Everyone,
As the reviews flood through the one constant question I always get is what new release am I watching next. So I thought I'd compile a list every month that captures what Movies, TV, and Anime - I wont necessarily watch - but ones I am definitely intrigued by.
My first list for November (2023) is a mixed bag of new movies, returning series, and reality shows. I've provided my thoughts to each entry, and added a quick breakdown of what the story will be about, and who is involved.
Let me know what you're most excited for on my Instagram page!
Now let's get started...
All the Lights We Cannot See - Streaming on Netflix | November 2nd.
I'm actually in the middle of watching this right now. It's definitely peaked my interest enough to complete the entirety of the limited series. A review should be up by weeks end.

In the final days of WWII, the paths of a blind French girl and a German soldier collide. Based on Anthony Doerr's Pulitzer Prize-winning bestseller.
Starring:
Aria Mia Loberti, Louis Hofmann, and Mark Ruffalo
Episodes:
4
Runtime:
1hr00mins
Onimusha - Streaming on Netflix | November 2nd.
This looks cool but I'm not a fan of samurai stories with power ups, other than their own human trained abilities'. I'll give this a few episodes hoping it will prove me wrong.

Priscilla - In Theatres | November 3rd.
We are getting our second Elvis-based movie in two years. I'm glad this provides a much more honest take on the questionable dynamic between him and his wife, if I had time to watch this in theatres I would but I'll most likely be watching this once it's on streaming.
Summary:
When teenage Priscilla Beaulieu meets Elvis Presley at a party, the man who is already a meteoric rock-and-roll superstar becomes someone entirely unexpected in private moments: a thrilling crush, an ally in loneliness, a vulnerable best friend. Invincible (Season 2) - Streaming Weekly on Prime Video | November 3rd.

Blue Eye Samurai - Streaming on Netflix | November 3rd.
I just finished this and I'm blown away at how good it was. The 2D/3D hybrid wasn't working for me initially but once I got past it the story really hooked me in, and in a year where we had John Wick - this takes the cake for best action sequences. It has a noteworthy cast of English voice actors but I have a preference for Japanese dubbing so I'm glad they had the option. This adds another stellar series to a catalogue built on the tremendous Arcane. Highly Recommend!

Attack on Titan: The Final Chapters (Season 4 | Part 3) - Streaming on Crunchyroll | November 3rd.
I am so sad to see this story end but my curiosity over powers that feeling because I have to know what Erens master plan is! This will be watched IMMEDIATELY upon its release.

The series finale of a decade long journey comes to it's conclusion, as we witness Eren Jaegar put an end to a 100 year long battle between titans and humans.

Runtime:
1hr26mins
The Santa Clauses (Season 2) - Streaming on Disney+ | November 8th.
As soon as Halloween ends, I am the first one ready for Christmas. Wasn't in love with the first season, any Christmas (or in this case Santa) story that isn't set during Christmas time takes a hit for me. I'll still be watching it hoping for more of a Christmas centered story.

The beloved franchise returns! Scott Calvin, after 28 years, reigns true as Santa Claus, leader of the North Pole and Christmas. Love You Like a KDrama - Streaming on Netflix | November 28th.
This may be last on the list, but it's first in my heart. I love me a good K-Drama but trying to build a K-Drama cast based on chemistry, through a reality show... such a ridiculous concept that I can't help but be excited for.
Summary:
Can people really fall in love if they act in a romantic K-drama with kissing scenes? This is a reality dating show focusing on eight male and female actors from Korea and Japan as they live together, and pair up to try and land the lead roles in six mini K-dramas — and see if they fall in love. Will they be able to win an audition with the person they love, or will they have to witness the person they love kissing their rivals? Dreams, romance, and friendship intertwine beyond the borders of Korea and Japan, creating the purest heartbreak and sadness of a Korean drama in a very realistic way.
